Thermodynamic Hot Water – The Concept

Thermodynamics provides Hot Water in all weathers, Day and Night for 365 days a year. Energy exists in many forms, such as heat, light, chemical energy, and electrical energy – Thermodynamics is the study of energy.

The First Law of Thermodynamics states that Energy can be changed from one form to another, but it cannot be created or destroyed. The total amount of energy and matter in the Universe remains constant, merely changing from one form to another.


Who discovered Thermodynamics?

Many people had a hand in forming the science of Thermodynamics but foremost were:

Lord Kelvin (1824 – 1907)

Nicolas Carnot (1796 – 1832)

Nicolas CarnotNicolas Carnot was a French physicist whose book Reflections on the Motive Power of Fire explained the maximum efficiency of heat engines and whose work Kelvin referenced.
